The Cultural Context
In India, engineering and medical entrance preparation is the dream for millions. And each student’s journey is an emotional rollercoaster. Every year, once board exams end, millions of students and parents enter a high-pressure phase filled with hopes, anxieties, and one recurring thought: “Kaash…” (“I wish…”). I wish I could get the right guidance. I wish there was a smarter way to prepare.
That emotional truth became the foundation of Aakash’s new campaign idea: “Kaash nahi, Aakash.” A simple but powerful creative leap that transformed a commonly used Hindi expression into a brand idea only Aakash could own. By turning “Kaash” into “Aakash,” the campaign positioned the institute not just as a coaching center, but as the answer to the wishes and dreams of students and parents across India. And with 35 years of credibility, consistent NEET success, and a legacy of AIR ranks, the line highlighted the brand’s familiarity and trust.
Building A 360° Campaign At Scale
The brief was ambitious. Launch a nationwide campaign for iACST, Aakash’s scholarship and admission test, with enough scale and adaptability to work across regions, formats, and audience segments.
We had to deliver an integrated campaign with print, digital, and video assets in an incredibly compressed timeline. Our solution was equal parts creative thinking and production engineering.
We designed a modular campaign system built around relatable student-parent moments and the central “Kaash nahi, Aakash” thought. The idea was flexible enough to adapt across NEET and JEE audiences, while keeping the emotional core consistent: aspirations turning into action.
To maximize efficiency, we planned and executed:
- 6 primary films
- Shot in just 1.5 days
- Which then expanded into 126 video assets and adaptations
- Delivered across formats, durations, languages, and platforms
- Along with a full suite of print and digital campaign materials
- All within roughly 30 days
Every frame, setup, and script was designed for scalability. From shot planning to edit architecture, the production process was optimized to generate maximum creative output from minimal shoot time, without compromising storytelling quality.
The films captured familiar household moments: parents worrying quietly, students second-guessing themselves, conversations around ambition and pressure. Instead of dramatizing success, the campaign focused on the emotional space before success, the mini-moments filled with “what ifs.” “Kaash nahi, Aakash” was simple yet memorable, distinct yet conversational, while being deeply Indian and emotionally sticky. A phrase students and parents could instantly relate to,and one that naturally reinforced Aakash’s leadership in the category.
The Outcome
The campaign successfully positioned Aakash as not just India’s trusted NEET leader, but as a modern, emotionally resonant education brand ready to compete aggressively in the JEE coaching landscape as well.
More importantly, the project is an example of our ability to execute large-scale content ecosystems with both speed and strategic rigor. Delivering a culturally-rooted creative platform with strong recall, creating 126+ video assets in under 30 days, across multiple languages, formats and audiences, all adding up to a scalable 360° campaign system built for national rollout. Because in today’s content landscape, ideas alone aren’t enough. You need to do it at scale. And with “Kaash nahi, Aakash,” our team proved you can do both.
